National Environmental Management Act:

The preparation of the strategy, as required by the National Environmental Management Act: Waste Act (No. 25 of 2008), began in March 2009 and a draft strategy is now available for comment.

The strategy is available on the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) website. Click the link to the National Waste Management strategy. If you would like to comment on any aspect of the strategy, please login using your username. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
